The Beginning

Okay - so this is all very new to me and I feel like I have no idea what I am doing! I have been checking out some of my friend's blogs for the last few months and have loved what they have done. I have never had any desire to start one myself - because I just haven't felt like I have any extra time to be spending on a blog. But as I've looked at others - it helped me to see that it is a great way to at least journal a little about our family and what is going on. I am looking forward to working on it a little bit at a time. That way it won't seem so overwhelming.

A little bit about our family: Dan and I have been married for almost 9 years and I feel more and more blessed to have found him the longer I am with him. He puts up with a lot and has such a great attitude all the time. He is still very much a child at heart - but that's part of what makes our life so fun and exciting! Cody is our awesome 6 year old boy who has a heart of gold! He is a HUGE pleaser and never wants to let us down. He is the perfect student at school and loves ALL sports. He is especially loving t-ball right now. (Especially since his daddy is his head coach this season!) Brooke is our very busy, loving, opinionated 4 year old girl. She has an attitude of her own and definitely keeps us entertained. She loves dance class, unicorns, princesses and anything girly! We also have a little one on the way that we can't wait to find out the sex of in about one week! We are so excited!!! Cody definitely wants it to be a boy and Brooke is dying for a little sister. We will see! :) My guess is a little girl but you can't know for sure until the ultrasound verifies everything. It will be a fun event! We are going to bring both kids with us to watch and see. I just hope nobody is in tears by the time we leave. We will definitely keep you posted!!!
